Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps children in a wide variety of areas including cognitive, sensory, motor skills (using hands and fingers for daily tasks), executive functioning skills, and physical skills. An OT will address delays in play skills, social skills, feeding skills or developmental motor skills. OT will also help with sensory processing skills which can frequently contribute to behavior problems, focus, and regulation challenges (inability to self-calm, constantly moving, crashing, bumping). OT can help with dressing, eating, bathing and other daily routines that are challenging or delayed. Our occupational therapists have experience with children that have many different diagnoses and needs. We aim to help families that are seeking support and strategies, guidance and resources.
